Balthazar Nebot, “Allegory of Fortune” ca. 1730

Thank you for visiting our page and your interest in familiarizing yourself with our work.

We got started on this path from our own personal calls to the exploration of all facets of reality that we are able to facilitate perception of, and the transmutation of these experiences into personal growth.

The work was for ourselves; to further our own journeys.

We realized that there are others with whom our work would resonate, and were happy to share the tools and space we have curated. We believe in coalition building through constructive and collaborative dialogues which can then blossom into projects, events, and partnerships.

We think it takes a village, and aren't looking to engage in this work alone.

As a result, we've adopted an intuitive donation model to accommodate all financial conditions and not contribute to socioeconomic prejudice. We also have provided hundreds of light sessions around the country to participants from all walks of life out of what we have realized to be a duty to share our incredible gifts with others.

The ingredients that comprise Umbra Viventis Lucis were not inexpensive, and outside of our personal financial investments there have been many personal sacrifices made and the very nature of our work is done at great personal risk.

We believe it's that important.

Contrary to some of the narratives that have been proposed by the more colorful members of the community, we are not in fact a CIA front, nor funded by deep pocketed eccentric hoteliers. We can't even get Linda Moulton Howe to write back to us! We're just a couple of UFO and psychedelics nerds who have, in the parlance, "fucked around" and are proceeding to "find out".

While we work day jobs that alleviate any necessity to monetize the project further, it lacks any financial stability and sustainability beyond our ability to keep the lights on in increasingly uncertain financial times. If you're here you may be one of the relatively few people who see the value in our work and the singular approach we take in engagement. You may hope we make it, and that some unforseen bump in the road doesn't sink our ship. You might want to say cheers by buying us a round at the Kahpeeh Kah-ahn Ute Coffee House (highly recommend if you're visiting the area and we'll take you in the morning if you join us for an overnight camping experience!). You might be more fortunate and want to contribute to the many donation sessions we provide to those in need. You might even see the potential for what the project could become with a more significant investment and/or to become a partner, or recommend that we transition to a 501(c)(3) non-profit (as we've long considered) because that's what's stopping you or your company from making a substantial donation.

For the latter please reach out to us directly, but for the former we've added links to our Venmo, PayPal, and CashApp profiles where we would be grateful for any contributions to the preservation of our work from those who are fortunate enough to help support it.
